The village of Crantock boasts a general store and post office as well as two pubs, an ancient and beautiful Anglican church and a Methodist chapel. With over a mile of golden sands, rock pools and caves to explore and the invigorating Atlantic Ocean, so whether you enjoy partaking or just observing this really is a paradise for lovers of the coast.

Much of the surrounding area is National Trust land and is well known for its wide variety of flora and fauna. Part of the headland is designated as an Area of Special Scientific Interest. The South West Coastal Footpath runs around the headland and there are wonderful walks with magnificent views to be enjoyed; This is a truly wonderful setting in which to live.

Enjoy idyllic coastal walks to take in the stunning views of this rugged Atlantic coastline and find time to explore the spectacular cliffs and rock formations that hide secret smugglers' coves and fascinating caves. The nearby Gannel Estuary is perfect for a whole range of outdoor activities from canoeing, walking, fishing and bird watching to horse riding. Or visit The Adventure Centre on Lusty Glaze beach and experience coasteering, zip wire, abseiling and climbing.
